In 2017 Company Directors, Jon Knowles and Paul Howell, combined their industry knowledge to form Smart Data Centre Solutions (smartDCS) having previously worked together for many decades. The business rapidly grew to where we are today.

smartDCS Group is a collection of companies, each specialising in its own field of expertise; our original company smartDCS specialises in structured cabling and electrical infrastructure, which includes related products such as DCiM software, Asset Management tool and Branch Circuit Monitoring. smartDCS IT with Cyber Security at the forefront is a consultancy business specialising in DevOps, alongside software development regarding Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Solutions, digital twins to create virtual replicas of physical assets to improve performance and reduce costs. smartEV uses both our electrical and IT knowledge to specialise in the installation of Electric Vehicle Chargers.
